There's an ongoing social media feud between Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Tems, also known as Temilade Openiyi, and American record producer ATL Jacob.
The dispute kicked off when ATL Jacob claimed on a recent podcast that Tems was initially reluctant to clear her sample on Future’s ‘Wait For U,’ a track that featured her and Drake. ATL Jacob, who produced the song, mentioned that Future had to intervene and talk to Drake to use his relationship with Tems to secure her approval for the sample.
This statement faced criticism on social media, with both Tems and her manager disputing its accuracy. Responding to the backlash, ATL Jacob defended himself by stating, “All this negativity coming to me... I got a $100,000 wire transfer for Tems and her team to find me 1 time I spoke negatively about her.”
In response, Tems took a more direct approach, offering the American producer $1 million to stop spreading what she termed as "lies." She wrote, “It's not about saying anything negative. Stop telling lies. I'll give you 1 million.” This exchange adds a layer of drama to the ongoing social media clash between the two.
