Recognized as the "king of Kannywood," Ali Nuhu's contributions to the industry earned him the position of Director of the Nigerian Film Corporation in January 2024, appointed by President Bola Tinubu.

In his private life, Ali Nuhu is happily married to Maimuna Garba Ja Abdulkadir, and their union is blessed with children. A devout Muslim, he is not only celebrated in the film world but also serves as an ambassador for renowned brands like Globacom, OMO, Samsung, and Checkers Custard.
